Savory Cherry Wine Sauce
The perfect compliment to any savory dish!
Ingredients
Directions
Pour wine into a medium saucepan. Add Chukar® Bing Cherries.
Bring to a boil and lower temperature to a steady simmer. Simmer liquid until the volume reduces by half.
Add sugar, butter, a pinch of kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper to taste. Stir.
Suggested Use: spoon over roast chicken, duck, pork loin, or fish prior to serving. It's divine with our Halibut a la Chukar.
Optional: Finish with a twig of rosemary or parsley.
